TourCert-certified as “Sustainable Destination”

We are pleased to share some great news with you: The Overlook Lodge is now TourCert-certified! With this, we are sending a strong signal for responsible tourism and sustainable travel – values that have always been important to us.

What Does TourCert Mean?

TourCert is an internationally recognized seal for sustainability in tourism. The certification confirms that we take ecological, social, and economic responsibility. From the energy efficiency of our vacation home to the selection of regional partners and fair working conditions – all these aspects have been reviewed and successfully evaluated.

Our Previous Efforts – Now Externally Confirmed

For us, sustainability is not a trend, but a living practice. Since the opening of the vacation home, we have focused on resource-saving processes, regional value creation, and transparency. With the TourCert certification, these efforts are now also externally confirmed. This means you can be sure that your stay with us is not only comfortable and close to nature, but also adheres to strictly audited sustainability criteria.

Why Is This Important for You as a Guest?

With the TourCert certification, we guarantee you not only a relaxing stay amidst nature but also a good feeling: You are spending your vacation in a home that actively contributes to protecting our environment. We promote the regional economy, ensure fair working conditions, and take responsibility for future generations.
