A Strong Partnership for Your Bike
Bicycle Service for Cycle Travelers
Your Bike in Good Hands
Anyone traveling by bicycle knows that things do not always run smoothly. It is all the more pleasant when help is not far away. For our cycling guests, we now have a solution that is just as reliable as the sunrise over the Kellerwald: Overlook Lodge is now cooperating with the e-bike and bicycle specialist Fahrradhaus Jähn in Thalitter.
Whether it is an e-bike or a classic bicycle – the team at Jähn knows their business. From minor repairs to major technical problems: cycle travelers receive professional support without long detours or waiting times. And the best part? We are happy to assist with coordination and organization – so that your vacation does not come to a standstill.
For minor repairs or quick assistance in between, our guests also have access to a small private bicycle workshop directly on the Lodge grounds. Equipped with tools, an air pump, a repair stand, and a selection of common screws and valves, many problems can be solved directly on-site – quite simply and without long distances.
Overlook Lodge is located directly at the starting point of some of the most beautiful cycling routes in North Hesse. Many of our guests explore the region on two wheels – whether sporty, relaxed, or with electric assistance. With this new partnership, we want to ensure that your journey can continue even in the event of a breakdown.
Fahrradhaus Jähn has been a fixture in the region for years. In their modern workshop in Thalitter, they not only maintain e-bikes but also get standard bicycles back in shape. Friendly, competent, and with a true sense of what cyclists need.
For us, it is clear: anyone staying with us should feel completely at ease – even while on the road. That is why we are very pleased about this new collaboration. Another step that shows: Overlook Lodge is more than just a place to sleep. It is a temporary home – also for cycle travelers.
