There are days when you don’t need a spa hotel, a five-course meal, or even a schedule.
What you need:

- a bit of nature
- a place where no one asks why you’re firing up the grill again at 11:30 PM.

The place where men’s weekends are officially cool again.
Arrive. Kick off your shoes. Unplug.
The Lodge is located in the heart of the Kellerwald by Edersee – far enough away to forget everyday life, yet close enough not to starve if someone forgets the BBQ food.
Here, the rule is:
- Coffee in the morning
- Beer in the evening
- Peace in between.
And if you absolutely must do something “productive,” you can add wood to the fire or turn on the hot tub.
Amidst birdsong, the scent of the grill, and an occasional philosophical discussion about the right amount of mustard, what is commonly known as “relaxation” emerges here.
Space for Conversations, Nonsense & Legendary Evenings
Three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a living area where you can easily debate whether you really need another round on the Xbox (spoiler: yes).
Cook together, grill, laugh, talk – or simply sit silently next to each other, pretending to “enjoy the view” while everyone is actually just relaxing.
And when the day was long:
Hot tub, infrared cabin, feet up.
Perfect for pretending you’ve just conquered a mountain.
Time that lasts – and stories to tell
A men's weekend at the Overlook Lodge is not a spa vacation. It's a mix of freedom, friendship, and "remember that time...". Good friends. Good food. Good excuses why you should do it more often.
Outdoors. Or happy indoors.
The region offers everything men enjoy:
- Hiking without anyone asking how many steps are left
- MTB tours through the Kellerwald that you’ll later describe as more epic than they were
- Fishing at Edersee (with or without a catch – peace is the main thing)
